Brazil Business Reports and Brazil Business Education (a.k.a. BBR) are the latest additions to Semantica’s ever growing client list. We reworked both their South Florida Business Report site as well as their new Benelux report, to great success.
Boasting over 500 clients globally, BBR focuses on bringing all things Brazilian to a wider audience.
BBR partners with businesses looking for increased global exposure. In depth business development reports, featuring a wealth of interviews with industry experts, are published through Brazil’s leading news sources. BBR’s prolific business development reports help to promote bi-lateral relationships, foster business partnerships, and support economic growth with Brazil.
This includes the new South Florida Business Report site, a useful guide to investing in Miami.
BBR Education is dedicated to promoting educational institutions on a global level. They publish education reports for Brazilian students, featuring interviews with leading academic institutions and supporting government organizations.
BBR’s influential education reports aim to educate potential Brazilian students and parents on educational institutions, while promoting bi-lateral relationships in the academic realm.
This includes the new Benelux report, a guide to furthering your education in Benelux countries.
BBR’s new sites
Semantica managed to overcome the language obstacles to create a site for BBR that is both beautiful and functional. Our fabulous web development project manager, Steve Bonthuys, had this to say about the work done on the site:
“We implemented a WordPress multisite solution, which enabled us to quickly deploy a WordPress CMS site for each of their reports (SFBR & Benelux & US Business School Report).
We were able to accommodate a large volume of content in an organised and easy-to-navigate structure. We also successfully used WordPress Multilanguage plugin to manage the translation of their extensive content between English and Portuguese. We effectively carried the established layout styling across their suite of subsequent sites to keep a consistent brand appearance.”
Another challenging aspect was creating ads in Portuguese. Our marketing expert, Kyle Pretorius, weighs in:
“It was an interesting challenge, mostly because of the language barrier. While advertising in non-English languages are not unheard of, working with a language that is not widely spoken or well known in South Africa proved a challenge.
Creating ads, getting the proper grammar in place, getting approval, as well as fitting ads into the allocated character limits was quite tricky at times. The process of getting these aspects in place has been a bumpy, but still an exciting journey.”
How this benefits YOU
The BBR sites are prime examples of the challenges Semantica thrives on. The sites have already exceeded expectations. Adds Kyle:
“A benefit the client has seen is a large influx of traffic for low CPC’s. BBR was pleasantly surprised by the relevance of the traffic we are able to deliver for low CPC’s. Not only are they getting traffic, but targeted users are interacting on the site. This is all without the client paying a fortune for the amount of traffic we deliver.”
